Cure Hair Loss

Sure we have all at some point of time used some fairly weird stuff for our hair: raw eggs, yoghurt, mayonnaise, beer, milk cream, lime juice all for vanity; because we were told it would give us beautiful lustrous locks or because we were told it would cure all hair ills. But this one has to take the biscuit: We came across a really bizarre Japanese hair treatment formulation recently; one that contains bull semen so we thought we would share it here with our readers!

This is a 45 minute intense conditioning treatment that uses semen from thoroughbred Aberdeen Angus bulls in a farm in Cheshire and now the Japanese, who have a penchant for trying out unusual beauty therapies have caught on.

This is how the bull semen treatment works: it is massaged into hair after shampooing and then steamed and thereafter blow dried. Apparently it is the protein in the semen that is so beneficial and leaves the hair looking great and feeling thick and silky.

In case you are wondering, it doesn’t smell because the semen is refrigerated beforehand.

We have of course spoken before about Hair Extensions, and how one needs to be careful about them, however once you are aware of the possible repercussions of hair extensions, and want to go ahead with them, you may be daunted by the fact that they can be very expensive. Plus the fact that one has to visit a salon to have them put in as well as for maintenance.

For those that have neither the time nor the money for this, it is a good idea to consider clip on hair extensions. It is generally recommended that you clip them into your own hair by separating your hair and starting at the nape of the neck. The amount of clips you use is up to you depending on the level of volume that you require. You can do this at home, after deciding what amount of volume or length you want to add to your hair.
