Honduran Rain Forest Yields Dry Hair Solution
So many of us are plagued by dry hair – coarse, frizzy or unmanageable hair when we long to have the sort of glossy, well nourished hair of our dreams.
Now modern beauty product manufacturers could be tapping into an ancient hair solution to repackage it for our hair – the Tawira Miskito Indians, or “people of the beautiful hair”, from the Honduran rain forest have long used the Ojon Nut for their hair.
The Ojon nut is known to have exceptional hair moisturizing qualities, and now brands such as Estee Lauder are becoming more aware of these moisturizing and hair enhancing properties. The key ingredients of the nut also help repair hair damage, which is one of the key aspects of the nut and it is claimed that the hair’s condition improved 64 percent after just one application of its damage-reverse line.
The shampoos / conditioners made from it are known to be expensive which is however not a deterrent for consumers who use the product.
