Brazilian Wax

Brazilian Waxing Technique

A Brazilian wax is similar to a bikini wax, the only difference being that a Brazilian wax is more comprehensive. It involves completely removing the hair from the genital area including the front and the back. It clears the hair in the vaginal and anal region and everything in between. It may be very painful. You will, however, experience lesser pain in subsequent sessions as you get used to it.

You should get a Brazilian wax done only by trained professionals in salons or clinics where hygiene is well taken care of. Make sure she wears gloves. Poor hygiene in the salon could give you more than hairless skin; it could give you serious infections as well.

A Brazilian wax can be done by removing the hair completely or by leaving a ‘landing strip’ or a small triangle of hair just over the vagina. This part is the most sensitive and some people prefer to not get it waxed.

A Brazilian wax would hurt the most just before or after a menstrual cycle. The ideal time to go for it would be a week or 10 days after he end of the menstrual cycle. Nowadays, men and women both go for this treatment. However women still far outnumber men.

The plus side is that the skin is hairless and smooth for about 2 – 3 weeks. The downside is the pain, possible embarrassment while getting it done and the sometimes painful aftereffects in the form of rashes, boils or ingrown hair.
