Shaving
Shaving for Hair Removal
Shaving is an easy, convenient and painless way to smooth hairless skin, although for a short duration. Shaving removes the hair topically from the surface of the skin. Thus the skin is hairless for barely a few days or hours, based on your rate of hair growth. It needs to be done repeatedly at short intervals.
While shaving, care needs to be taken to avoid cuts and nips. It would be preferable to shave after applying some sort of shaving cream or softening soap to the skin first. If neither of these, you should at least do it under flowing water to make sure the razor glides smoothly over the skin.
There are specialized razors available for women that are smoother on the skin. They are feminine to look at. They have additional smoothening strips that make the razor glide more smoothly across the skin.
Shaving can be done by anyone by themselves in privacy with needing anyone’s assistance. The downside is that the results are very short-term.
